trac setup on shared host

setting up trac on a shared host is possible, thanks to the great article found here: http://natmaster.com/articles/installing_trac_0.10.php, but it is for an earlier version of tracs and I had to make some changes along the way. Here are my notes (more for myself than anything)…

forget building svn

It just didn't work for me, and turned out to be uneccesary...

svn co commands missing target folder

there's a couple

$ svn co http://trac-hacks.org/svn/iniadminplugin/trunk/
iniadmin url wrong – need .10 or .11 version:

browsing the trac-hacks svn repository led me to this url:

$ svn co http://trac-hacks.org/svn/iniadminplugin/0.10/iniadmin

if you're installing versin .11 of tracks, change the url to: http://trac-hacks.org/svn/iniadminplugin/0.11/iniadmin
