Welcome

I finally decided to put a blog online - mostly because I found a great tool - Pivot.  Its a really nice blog tool that doesn't require mysql - it provides it's own file-based database that is really simple to backup.

Not sure that I'll ever put a lot of content online, but we'll see how that goes.  As part of my job, I find myself writing up short reviews of software development tools or occasional commentary on agile software development practices, offshoring, etc, and I thought it might be useful to start archiving that content even if just for my own use.  And who knows, someone else might find it valuable too. :)

I'm not going to restrict myself to technology topics for now; we'll see how this evolves...
